Incredible mid century folding dining table designed by Professor R D Russell for Gordon Russell c.1960. Crafted from breathtaking book matched Brazilian rosewood with solid rosewood legs. Ideal for a smaller space with its ability to fold either end allowing it to be pushed neatly up against the wall. A premium piece of mid century design and a rare opportunity to own something with such unique grain.
Upon contacting the Gordon Russell design museum it turns out this is the only table of its kind to ever be produced in rio rosewood and likely specially made to go in a showroom. This model table was only ever listed in the GR archives as being produced in teak (Model-R127) and oak (Model-r126). An incredibly rare and one off piece.
