Amoebe chair designed by Verner Panton and produced by Vitra. A really unique design with striking organic form. Created by Panton in 1970 for the famous Visiona installation. It is a marvellous example of close to the floor lounge furniture and embodies the spirit of the early 1970s. Amoebe Highback has a flexible backrest that curves over the head of the sitter, forming a sculptural canopy. In this way, this chair creates a sense of shelter and seclusion. A great piece of collectible mid century Scandinavian design for your interior.
Condition: Excellent condition. Structurally perfect. Upholstery has been cleaned with no damage. Minor light mark where the head would rest (Barely visible and in no way detracts). Vitra makers tag present to the side ensuring authenticity. A superb collectors example.
